TrackSave is a free, student-made website that helps you keep track of your subscriptions and find cheaper plans. We only keep what's needed to do that. We don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't use tracking or analytics cookies. We count visits without cookies (see Cloudflare below).
If you don't log in
Everything you add (your subscriptions, currency and uni) stays in your own browser. It never reaches us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If you make an account
We store:
- your email address and password (the password is scrambled, so not even we can read it)
- your subscription list, currency and the uni you picked
- the interests you pick on the Deals page ("What are you into?"), so your picks follow you to other devices
- whether email reminders are on, and the last day we emailed you
- how many TrackBot questions you've asked today (to apply the daily limit)
- whether you're on Free or TrackSave Premium, which Plus plan you picked and when you started, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs if you pay (Stripe handles the card; we never see or store it)
Only you can see your list. Our database is set up so each person can only read their own data.
If you send feedback
We store your message, whether it's an idea, bug or other, which tab you were on, and your email only if you typed it in. If you were logged in, we also note which account sent it. Only TrackSave's owner can read feedback.
Who helps run TrackSave
- Supabase stores accounts and saved lists. Our database is in Supabase's Seoul (South Korea) data centre.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Resend sends emails (reminders and password resets), using your email address and the reminders in your list.
- Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI) writes TrackBot's AI answers. When you ask TrackBot something while logged in, your question, a summary of your list, your uni, the interests you picked and your student ID date (if set) are sent to Anthropic to write the reply. TrackBot asks for your OK before its first AI answer. TrackSave doesn't save your chat. Anthropic handles it under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts provides the font, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits, so we know roughly how many people use TrackSave, which pages they open and which country and website they came from. It uses no cookies, doesn't follow you around the internet and doesn't tell us who you are. It never sees your subscription list or account. About Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Tab counts: TrackSave also counts how often each tab (Home, Deals, TrackBot, Settings, Plus, Wrapped) is opened, stored in Supabase as just one number per tab per day. Nothing about who opened it: no account, no IP address, no cookies.
Your choices
- Turn off reminder emails any time: tap "Unsubscribe" in any reminder email, or Settings → Your account → Email me reminders.
- Log out to remove your list from this device. It stays safe in your account.
- Delete your account: Settings → Your account → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account, your saved list and your settings. It doesn't cancel your actual subscriptions; do that on each app's website.
Prices and advice
Prices and deals are checked by hand and can go out of date. TrackBot gives general tips, not financial advice. Always check the official website before you switch or pay.
